Importing Accounts into AppEQ

Before you begin:

Prepare your CSV file:

  • Ensure your CSV file has a header row (the first row) that clearly names each column (e.g., Account Name, Account ID, Domain etc.)

  • Each subsequent row should represent a single account with its corresponding data under the correct columns.

  • Please note you can import up to 30 accounts on the free plan.

Steps to Import Accounts:

  • Once logged into AppEQ, ensure you are in the InboxCRM module.

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click on Accounts under the WORKBENCH section.

  • On the Accounts page, look to the top right corner.

  • Click the Import button.

  • A dropdown menu will appear. Choose the option Import from CSV.

  • It will ask you to connect to Inbox so please click on it

  • Select your work email to continue.

  • Click on continue

  • An Import Accounts window will appear. Drag and drop your CSV file or click Select CSV File to browse and upload it.

  • Now you'll find the crucial Map CSV columns to account fields section. Use the dropdowns to map each AppEQ field (e.g., Account ID, Account Name, Domain, Stage, Success Owner, Amount, etc.) to the matching column in your CSV.

  • Ensure mandatory fields (marked with *) like Account Name and Domain are correctly mapped.

  • After mapping all necessary fields, check the message at the bottom left of the pop-up (e.g., 30 accounts ready to import) to see how many accounts will be imported.

  • If the mappings and preview look correct, click Import from CSV to proceed.

If the file is not uploaded then below msg will appear

  • Once completed, your accounts should be imported into AppEQ and visible in the Accounts list. You will see a loading spinner with the text setting up your. workspace
